Our roses are now in their second bloom of the season. These Heavenly Scent roses live up to their name!

The Celestial Night roses burst into their second bloom of the season in front of our wonderful blue hydrangeas.

The Moon Glow Hydrangeas we planted two years ago are now coming into their own. We can see them from our kitchen window.

Here’s a Moon Glow under the shade of our pines in a shaded alcove that showed blue hydrangeas early this summer.

Candelabra Hydrangeas earlier in July in Bed #1. And now, in August, they are turning red!

Echinacea are beautiful, but like the coreopsis, shasta daisies, buddleia and other perennials, they need to be deadheaded mid-summer so they can bloom again.

Allium in our cutting bed. We grow different varieties of alllium. I’ve cut the ones that bloomed earlier this year and will spray them for use in holiday wreathes this December.

Even the vibirnum are enjoying a second bloom. These were planted by the original owners in the early 2000s.
