I tried my first video of the garden on March 20. It gives you a different perspective on the scope of our garden. I apologize in advance for moving too quickly. So if you don’t want to get dizzy watching it, click on the gear in the upper right and change the speed to .25. It is easier on the eyes that way.

This was the view of our front entry on March 21. It was a fluff of white cotton for about a week. Now it is snowing cherry petals– but worth it!

Late in the afternoon on March 19, the Magnolia Tree just glowed. It is one of our first trees to blossom in the spring.

Tulip mania at The Green PLANeT Gardens this spring! They popped up all over the garden, right after the daffodils!

The first iris– it is one of the 3,000 unnamed iris we found when we moved to the property. In about a month, we’ll have another 3,000 named varieties in bloom!

And the first of our Rhododendrons is aptly named “First Date”.

The spirea are leafing out in the bed between our lawn and the pasture.

Spirea out front– the bronze ones are called Double Doozie. The dark cloud in the otherwise blue sky is a reminder that Oregon weather changes by the minute!

Here are the Heavenly Scent roses in our cutting bed on April 1. Later they will be beautifully pink and aromatic.

Here’s what they looked like last August.
