Gordon and I spent 5 days in Seattle mid February at the Northwest Flower Show, one of the biggest flower shows on the West Coast. We attended several informative workshops, visited hundreds of booths and floral displays. We took time to visit the Chihully Garden & Glass Museum, where we were inspired by his glass garden.

We purchased five glass ornaments at the flower show to add a little year-round color to our garden.

For the past several months, Gordon has been dividing the grasses on our property and relocating them to a special bed by our “horse shed”. It should look great come summer and fall.

We planted thousands of tulip, daffodil and allium bulbs in early winter. Now the tulips are beginning to poke through and should be spectacular in a few weeks.

Already the daffodils from previous plantings are making a sunny statement along Petes Mountain Road.
